Cybersecurity is often portrayed as something where your organization needs military-grade encryption, AI-powered threat intelligence, quantum-ready resiliency and whatever they come up during next week’s suppliers’ marketing meeting. In a lot of real-world examples though, the attacker simply logged in with that password that hasn’t been changed since 2018. Passwords, accounts, identities and your external suppliers and vendors will get compromised and the unaddressed fundamentals generally turn out to matter more than fancy sales brochures.

Practical Security
I don’t believe compliance automatically makes an organization secure. It looks great on executive summary pie-charts, but a completed checklist does not necessarily protect you, and your crown jewels in real world scenarios. It can be valuable, but real security comes from understanding risks, and which risks are relevant to your organization.

My Approach
I help organizations identify where they are most vulnerable, prioritize improvements, and focus on actions that make a measurable difference.
That means:

- Working alongside people instead of dictating from the sidelines
Security is rarely solved with a single project. It is an ongoing process of improvement.
About Me
My background combines cybersecurity and practical IT experience. Before moving into cybersecurity, I spent years working in IT support and engineering roles. That experience taught me something important: Technology only works when people can actually use it. Today my primary focus is cybersecurity, vulnerability management, incident response, risk reduction, and security engineering.
I enjoy finding weaknesses, understanding how they can be exploited, and helping organizations reduce their exposure in realistic and achievable ways.
I don’t claim to know everything.
I don’t claim to have a magic solution for every problem.
What I do bring is practical experience, honest advice, and a genuine desire to improve security where it matters most.
